The Internal Medicine Clinic at UAB Medicine Huntsville is dedicated to preventing, diagnosing, and treating common adult medical problems, with an emphasis on caring for the whole patient. Sometimes called “doctors for adults,” internal medicine physicians are extensively trained in treating common and complex illnesses and have received special training focusing on preventing, diagnosing, and treating adult diseases. Our internal medicine physicians are committed to overseeing every aspect of your care, whether in our office, during a hospitalization, or through a referral from another physician. All of our faculty physicians are board-certified in internal medicine, and some also are board-certified in geriatric care.
